This juxtaposition seems to have made for many pregnancies too. One couplet - a take-off on the "Strength through Joy" movement of the Labor Front, but it applied especially to the Land Jahr of the young maidens - went the rounds of Germany: In the fields and on the heath I lose Strength through Joy."
I don't think that this is really "nasty" in this day and age, but I leave the decision up to you.
