Maggiore Luigi Bonacelli is a fictional character who appeared in the Hogan's Heroes episodes, The Pizza Parlor and The Return of Major Bonacelli. He was played by both Hans Conried and Vito Scotti for one episode each. He was born December 6, 1891 (speculation, based on his original portrayal) and, despite being pure Italian, in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

When we first meet Major Bonacelli, it is while he is trying to leave for Switzerland. His plans are dashed when he is found and escorted to Stalag 13. After coaxing him with pizza, Hogan and his men get Major Bonacelli to agree to be their contact in Italy.

In one episode, Hogan is trying to pump information out of Bonacelli regarding the German garrison at Capizzio (fictional, perhaps a takeoff on the Sicilian town of Capizzi.) based on "two pizzas per soldier." Bonacelli gives the number and when Hogan is slow on the mathematical uptake, simply advises him to "divide by two."
